Our Space

Studio

Located at 37 Main Street, Suite 211, in North Adams, our studio is equipped with Harlequin Flexity sprung flooring offering assurance of better protection from injuries for dancers with reduced risk of injury through impact, slipping or falling. A professional dance floor enhances the confidence of performers. Floors developed for commercial or sports applications do not offer the same benefits as floors developed specifically for dance. We put the health and well-being of our dancers and faculty first.

No street shoes are to be worn in the studio at any time.

Only water is allowed in the studio.

In order to allow adequate time to prepare for class, we recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to the start of class. We encourage all students to use the bathroom and wash their hands prior to class. To allow for a smooth transition between classes, we ask that all students be picked up immediately following the end of class.

The warm-up is a critical part of the class; therefore, we do not allow admission into class after 15 minutes past the start time. This reduces the risk of injury and avoids disruption to the flow of class.

Cleaning Protocol

In order to maintain a healthy environment, Creative Soul follows the recommendations of the CDC regarding cleaning and disinfecting. All surfaces, including the restrooms, studio, and waiting room, will be disinfected at least once a day. Hand sanitizer will be available both in the waiting room and studio for your use. Restrooms will have soap available. Please wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. This will help keep our students, faculty, and staff healthy.

Additionally, we have air purifiers in both the waiting room and the studio areas. They help filter airborne particles, like viruses and bacteria, dust, pollen, dander, and mold delivering cleaner air quality.

Parking

There is double on street metered parking available on Main Street and Marshall Street, as well as free parking at the Berkshire Plaza lot in the rear of the building.
