Caregiver & Me

Dancers should wear comfortable clothing, such as tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, or leggings. Caregivers will be participating in the class so should also wear comfortable, athletic clothing. Hair should be pulled back out of the dancer’s face. Socks or bare feet are appropriate. Street shoes are not allowed in the studio at any time.

Creative Movement

Dancers should wear any color leotard, tights, and pink leather ballet slippers. Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail, french braid, or bun and out of the dancer’s face.

Introduction to Ballet/Tap/Jazz

Dancers should wear a solid color leotard and tights. Dancers should bring pink leather ballet slippers, Mary Jane black tap shoes, and black split sole, slip-on jazz shoes. Hair should be pulled back into a ponytail, french braid, or bun and out of the dancer’s face.

Ballet and Pointe

Dancers should wear a black leotard, pink tights, and pink canvas ballet slippers. Hair should be pulled back into a bun and out of the dancer’s face. No jewelry. Stud earrings are acceptable. Please note: Black ballet skirts can be worn during pointe class only.

Modern

Dancers should wear a black leotard and footless tights with bare feet. Hair should be pulled back into a ponytail, french braid, or bun and out of the dancer’s face.

Jazz

Dancers should wear a solid color leotard and tights with black split sole, slip-on jazz shoes. Hair should be pulled back into a ponytail, french braid, or bun and out of the dancer’s face.

Tap

Dancers should wear a solid color leotard and tights with fluid black tap shoes. Hair should be pulled back into a ponytail, french braid, and bun and out of the dancer’s face.

Hip Hop

Dancers should wear comfortable clothing, such as tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, leggings, or athletic clothing and black jazz sneakers or tennis shoes. No jeans, please. Hair should be pulled back out of the dancer’s face.

Boys

Boys should wear solid black tights, black dance pants or black shorts, a fitted white or black t-shirt. For Pre-Ballet, they should wear black leather ballet shoes. For Elementary & Intermediate/Advanced Ballet, they should wear black canvas ballet shoes.
