Ballet
Ages 18+
Join us for a fun and engaging exploration of ballet. This class introduces basic ballet positions of the arms and legs, as well as ballet terminology while focusing on proper posture and placement. Ballet includes barre, center work, and across the floor combinations which are structured to build technique, musicality, and quality of movement. This class will improve cognitive function, coordination, balance, and flexibility. Rekindle your love of ballet or try it for the first time!
Barre
Ages 18+
This low-impact, high-intensity, full body workout incorporates principles of ballet, Pilates and yoga into one dynamic class. High repetitions of small, targeted movements will strengthen, lengthen, and tone your whole body while improving balance, and posture. Benefits also include increased flexibility, endurance, and core strength. No dance experience required!
Cardio Strength
Ages 18+
Join us for a vibrant and empowering Cardio Strength fitness class! This 45-minute workout is designed to nourish your physical and mental well-being. In this dynamic class, you’ll experience a fusion of cardio and strength training exercises that will challenge and motivate you. Amanda will guide you through a series of movements that will get your heart rate pumping and strengthen your upper body, lower body and core. Each cardio and strength segment will use interval training and leave you feeling energized and confident. Move, sweat, and celebrate your strength!
Pilates
Ages 18+
Through deliberate and intentional movements, this class promotes spine health and integrity. We integrate breath as a vehicle for both alignment and engagement of the body. This anatomically focused class design uses cues to ensure safe and effective movement. You can expect fun, laughter, and a playful sense of exploration!
Salsa
Ages 18+
Salsa is a popular Latin dance that has evolved from other forms such as Cha Cha, Son, and Bomba. In these classes, we teach the New York Style of Salsa on2. You will learn the foundations of Salsa Dancing and how to interpret music through the rhythm of the congas and clave. Our salsa classes incorporate musicality, styling, and other forms of Latin dance. The class covers footwork and partner work with a fun blend of technique, style, and social connection.
Yoga
Ages 18+
This all levels flow class is perfect for the beginner or intermediate student. Each class incorporates a component of meditation, breathwork, and body awareness. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and make modifications as needed.
Yoga/Pilates Fusion
Ages 18+
Marrying traditional influences of yoga and pilates, this fusion class offers participants the opportunity to strengthen and lengthen through mindful breath and body connections. Participants can expect an emphasis on spine stability through the engagement of the core with the utilization of yoga-inspired movements as a vehicle for integration. This class is suitable for all levels, and no experience in either movement modality is required.
Zumba
Ages 18+
Zumba® takes the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. This total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, and flexibility, will boost your energy and leave you feeling awesome.
